The authors of a new book, "Social Media For Dentists," claim their tips can help dental practices add seven to 10 new patients a month.
Authors Jason Lipscomb, D.D.S., and Stephen Knight, a self-described "social media maven," provide in-depth, step-by-step instructions and tutorials for dentists on YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, viral video campaigns, and email campaigns. The book is designed to teach dentists how to "get found" and get good reviews on the most important sites, according to a press release.
"On average, most traditional dentists spend between $20,000-$30,000 each year on traditional advertising, despite the fact that most of their business is attracted by word of mouth or via the web," the release stated. "With the explosion of social media, there is finally a viable alternative to this advertising money pit."
