The Edison Awards, named for Thomas Edison, recognize excellence in new product and service development, marketing, human-centered design and innovation. More than 3,000 business executives, academics, designers, scientists, and engineers from the U.S. judge Edison Award nominees. Each year a gold, silver, and bronze medal are given out to the top products in various categories.
"It's exciting to see companies like Carestream Dental continuing Thomas Edison's legacy of challenging conventional thinking," stated Frank Bonafilia, executive director of the Edison Awards. "Edison Awards recognizes the game-changing products and services, and the teams that brought them to consumers."
