Sirona Dental Systems has chosen the VectorCAST platform from Vector Software for embedded software testing of the Galileos 3D digital imaging systems.
"We evaluated VectorCAST based on very specific criteria that included the vendors' experience in safety-critical embedded software testing and the ease in which the solution could be integrated into our IEC 62304 development process," stated Michael Dalpiaz, development manager for imaging systems at Sirona, in a press release.
The VectorCAST tools allow for simple test case construction and the complete generation of test code including stubs and drivers, Dalpiaz added.
"With VectorCAST/Manage, we can now automate daily regression testing and easily manage test campaigns across multiple test environments," he said.
