Orascoptic has introduced the XV1, which the company claims is the first loupe and headlight all in one.
Featuring a lightweight, cableless design that eliminates the need for bulky belt packs, the XV1 was designed for function, style, and comfort, the company noted.
According to Orascoptic, the use of magnification has numerous benefits:
- Improved ergonomics: Professionals who use magnifying loupes do not have the need to bend or hunch over as often, thus improving posture and reducing the impact on the neck and back.
- Improved visualization of the oral cavity: Loupes allow the user to see more detail, imparting more confidence in diagnoses and treatment.

All Orascoptic loupes are custom manufactured to the user's specific working distance and facial geometry. The loupes are also hypoallergenic and corrosion-resistant.
