Henry Schein's laboratory supply business, Zahn Dental, has acquired Custom Automated Prosthetics (CAP), a digital laboratory supply company.
Based in Stoneham, MA, CAP had about $30 million in sales in 2015 and has more than 60 employees, according to Henry Schein. CAP offers CAD/CAM equipment, including integrated milling systems, scanners, and printers, and zirconia materials. Its milling center offers crowns, bridges, models, surgical guides, and design services.
CAP President Bob Cohen and CEO Rob Nazzal will join Henry Schein.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
