3D Systems has introduced VisiJet Clear, a new print material for U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) Class VI for plastics used in medical and dental applications.
VisiJet Clear is available only with the new ProJet 6000 professional 3D printer, the company noted.
VisiJet Clear is a specially engineered plastic material designed for optimal transparency, performance, accuracy, and stability during extended exposure to high humidity and wet conditions, according to 3D Systems. The ProJet 6000 prints extremely fine-feature, smooth-finish, clear, and colorless VisiJet Clear parts that can be used in various medical and dental applications, including surgical drill guides, dental models, and medical appliances.
