Bayshore Dental Studio of Tampa, FL, is partnering with Donated Dental Services (DDS) to provide dental prosthetics on an as-needed basis for patients across the U.S. who cannot afford them, the company announced.
DDS is a partner with the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Many of these special-needs patients fall through the cracks of most public health programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, according to Bayshore Dental Studio.
As a result, DDS partners with dentists and dental laboratories to provide dental services and materials that can "restore the smiles for these very deserving people," the company stated.
Bayshore Dental Studio will be called upon whenever a case arises in which the patient needs a denture or crowns and is unable to pay for them, the company noted.
