Cosmetic dentistry on the rise in the U.K.

More than a quarter of people in the U.K. have had cosmetic dental treatment, according to a survey from the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD).

The most popular treatment was teeth whitening at 31% of respondents; veneers were next at 18%.

The survey, which was done with market research provider Mintel, included more than 2,300 adults in the U.K.
