The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has filed an antitrust complaint against the three largest distributors in dentistry: Henry Schein, Patterson Companies, and Benco Dental. The complaint alleges a conspiracy not to do business with buying groups representing small-group and solo practices. Read the story here.

On February 15, the FTC released new details in its antitrust complaint against the distributors. The commission also proposed nine retributive actions should the companies be found guilty of conspiracy. Read the latest update here.
