Interleukin Genetics' CEO resigns

Interleukin Genetics announced that CEO Lewis H. Bender has resigned from his post and as a member of the board of directors, effective August 23, 2012, in order to pursue other business opportunities.

The board appointed Kenneth Kornman, DDS, PhD, the company's founder and current president and chief scientific officer, as CEO and as a member of the board of directors. Dr. Kornman will also continue his duties as president and chief scientific officer.
