A New York dentist has launched a brushless toothbrush designed to decrease tooth decay and gum disease.
Jack Gruber, DDS, of New Hyde Park developed the PeriClean brush to address problems associated with a bristled toothbrush, according to a press release.
The brushless toothbrush eliminates abrasion from typical toothbrushes, but has a slight degree of friction and variation to the surface to remove foreign matter and plaque buildup.
