Henry Schein Dental and the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) unveiled the ADHA/Henry Schein Dream Center during the ADHA's 2011 annual meeting in Nashville, TN.
The center is the first hands-on operatory built on the exhibit floor of ADHA's conference. It featured a full operatory with five product stations for attendees to explore the latest in dental hygiene technology.
The stations included salivary diagnostics (OralDNA Labs); loupes and infection control (Orascoptic and Kerr TotalCare); ultrasonics (Dentsply Professional); caries detection aids (Air Techniques); and lasers (Ivoclar Vivadent). In the center of the product stations, a full operatory experience was sponsored by DentalEZ.
Each product station included a five-minute educational interaction with a sponsoring company representative to give participants the opportunity to receive a one-on-one, hands-on experience with the featured products.
