Salivary diagnostics featured at AADR symposium

Presentations from the American Association for Dental Research (AADR) Fall Focused Symposium on Salivary Diagnostics held last month in the Washington, DC, area will be available in early 2011, according to the organization.

AADR created the Fall Focused Symposium to provide networking opportunities and exchange of ideas, and to offer small regional symposia focused on cutting-edge technology and techniques.

The two-day scientific program featured a keynote address on salivary diagnostics by Lawrence Tabak, newly appointed principal deputy director of the National Institutes of Health.

At the symposium, 22 scientific posters were presented. Invited speakers also presented in five sessions pertaining to different areas in salivary diagnostics research.

The proceedings will be published in Advances in Dental Research.
