MouthWatch has created the TeleDent Mobile Dentistry Accelerator Awards, which aim to help mobile dentistry programs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pandemic forced many growing mobile dentistry programs to reduce or delay teledentistry services, noted MouthWatch in a press release. The new program is designed to accelerate the rebound of mobile dentistry.
Winners will receive a MouthWatch intraoral camera with sleeves and a wall or counter mount. Additional prizes include one 12-month license to TeleDent, training and onboarding for the mobile dentistry team, and an individual annual membership to the American Mobile & Teledentistry Alliance.
MouthWatch will select five winners, and both for-profit and nonprofit mobile dentistry programs at various stages of development are invited to apply. Applications are due on May 5, and winners will be announced by June 30.
