MouthWatch's TeleDent teledentistry platform will be integrated into Henry Schein's Dentrix G6 and G7 practice management software.
TeleDent offers Dentrix G6 and G7 users real-time, two-way video conferencing along with HIPAA-secure patient and provider messaging that can be used on desktop and mobile devices. Practitioners can conduct emergency triages, consultations, previsit screenings, postop visits, and virtual case presentations either synchronously or asynchronously, MouthWatch said in a press release.
In addition, the patient-facing messaging included in the TeleDent platform enables practitioners to communicate directly with patients and also seamlessly collaborate and share diagnostic information with their dental teams and specialists in a cloud-based portal, the company said.
