Ed Zuckerberg, DDS, will present the closing keynote address at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) 2016 Annual Educational Conference in New Orleans in late October.
His presentation, "Social Media Marketing for Dentists -- What You Need to Know Now," will be Saturday, October 29, beginning at 11:00 a.m., according to the AAID.
Dr. Zuckerberg practices part-time in Palo Alto, CA, while also lecturing on technology integration, social media, marketing, and online reputation management. He wrote a chapter on social media for The ADA Practical Guide to Internet Marketing.
Dr. Zuckerberg will discuss the importance of having an active social media presence and discuss various platforms, with an emphasis on Facebook. Techniques to increase followers and promote engagement will be discussed. Creating a social media marketing budget also will be reviewed and techniques for the efficient use of advertising dollars.
