A group of Delta Dental companies has launched several new tools to educate kids on oral health. The children's dental cavity risk quiz, accessible on Delta Dental's children's Web site, is just one of the many free educational resources Delta Dental now provides.
The company is also offering schools a chance during February -- Children's Dental Health Month -- to receive a visit from a dental health education specialist.
"We're making dental education more accessible as well as more fun by providing new tools to children, such as our online cavity risk quiz and new games to help them learn more," said Daniel Croley, D.M.D., Delta Dental vice president. "Just about every child is at some risk for cavities, which is why we are raising awareness about cavity prevention and providing financial support for some of these children's mobile dental clinics."
