A dentist and his colleague have collaborated to launch a new social networking Web site for dentists: Dentoris.
The site works like any other social networking site but caters exclusively to members with a professional affiliation to dentistry, according to founders, Roy De Jesus, D.M.D., and Carlos Santofimio, M.B.A.
Dentoris members create a profile, then form connections by inviting trusted contacts to join. Dentoris also serves as a digital channel for pharmaceutical and dental device companies through product marketing and information campaigns.
