PBHS has introduced TruformAssistT, an interactive, online patient registration system designed to collect patient demographic and health history information over the Internet.
Created for the dental and healthcare communities, TruformAssistT enables patients to preregister online within a secured, HIPAA-compliant environment. Patients are presented with an interactive, multimedia, question and answer presentation.
"TruformAssistT tackles obstacles most practices are confronted with on a daily basis -- becoming paperless and facilitating workflow in the office," said PBHS President J. R. Levine in a press release.
The system minimizes redundant data entry by directly integrating with many popular practice management and electronic medical record software packages, essentially eliminating the need for data entry by staff members, according to the company.
Patient data are directly populated within doctor's practice management software, and a digital version of the form is immediately attached to the patient's account. With an electronic signature pad, patient authorization can be acquired without printing.
