The American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA) and Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) have announced three winners of their 2021 scholarship.
The winners are as follows:
- Angelica Morales-Maez is an oral surgery assistant at Bassett Army Community Hospital at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, AK. She plans to use her scholarship to pursue a DANB certified restorative functions dental assistant certification.
- Stacey Simon is a dental coordinator at His Hands Free Clinic in Cedar Rapids, IA. She plans to put her scholarship toward completing an online community dental health coordinator certificate at Kentucky Community and Technical College.
- Jami Van Enkevort is a dental assistant instructor at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay. She plans to use her scholarship to complete an educational and clinical application for proprietary radiology educators course at the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry.
