Dental insurer Beam Dental said it has raised $80 million in a series E funding round.
The oversubscribed series E fundraising round brings Beam's total funding to over $160 million, according to the company. It was led by Mercato Partners' Traverse growth equity fund with participation from new and existing investors such as Drive Capital, Georgian, Nationwide, and Breakout Capital.
Beam said it would use the new capital to expand its offering to new markets, add more employee benefits brokerages, and offer additional products requested by employers.
