The Henry Schein Cares Foundation has commenced the third phase of its Wearing is Caring public health campaign in partnership with the UPS Foundation.
The new phase will focus on promoting health equity to advance education about and access to the COVID-19 vaccines, according to the organization. Henry Schein Cares initially launched the Wearing is Caring campaign in October 2020 with a focus on promoting access to healthcare among underserved communities, as well as to encourage mask-wearing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
In the third phase, Henry Schein and the Henry Schein Cares Foundation will provide cash and in-kind grants to the Choose Healthy Life initiative, the Society of American Indian Dentists, the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, and the Hispanic Dental Association. Reusable face coverings will also be provided to each organization.
