The California Dental Association (CDA) kicked off its three-day convention on September 9 at San Francisco's Moscone Center. The association is requiring in-person attendees to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination upon entering the building.

A negative test or self-attestation of vaccination will not be accepted, the CDA said. Attendees must also wear a face mask at all times.

The CDA Presents conference runs through September 11 and is taking place both in person and online. It features 125 educational courses and an exhibit hall where attendees can shop for products and services.
