The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) and the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) have joined forces on a free personal protective equipment (PPE) optimization webinar.
The two groups will provide guidance on how to navigate the challenges associated with PPE, such as shortages, and how to use available supplies effectively. Other topics will include who enforces compliance and what resources are available for small clinics. Fit testing, the differences between N95 products, and the proper use of PPE will also be discussed. Participants will be able to ask questions.
The webinar will be presented by Kathy Eklund on December 4 from 3-4 p.m. CST. It will be worth one continuing education (CE) credit, the groups said. Registration is currently available.
