The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) said it's supporting Dental Infection Control Awareness Month (DICAM) in September by giving dental professionals access to a range of free resources.

These resources, most of which are usually reserved for OSAP members, include checklists, frequently asked questions and answers, patient scripts, and white papers, according to the organization. These DICAM support materials and resources are available on the OSAP website.

OSAP said that each week will have a different infection control focus. The first week will focus on hand hygiene, while the second week will emphasize dental unit waterlines. The third week will highlight personal protective equipment (PPE) and the fourth will cover instrument sterilization.
