The Green Bay Packers NFL team has provided a grant to help the Brown County Oral Health Partnership purchase personal protective equipment, safety and training materials, and air quality testing for dental clinics.
The donation is one of 19 new COVID-19 relief grants by the team to organizations in Green Bay, WI, and Brown County. The Brown County Oral Health Partnership will use the grant to safely deliver dental care to in-need children.
Since establishing the $1.5 million Packers Give Back COVID-19 Community Relief Fund, the NFL team has provided 62 grants to 53 organizations in Wisconsin dedicated to helping people affected by the pandemic. Grant recipients include schools, food pantries, homeless shelters, and organizations helping people with disabilities, the Packers organization noted.
