The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) is seeking abstracts for the organization's 2016 Infection Control Conference in June.
Eligible topics for abstracts include infection prevention and control, occupational safety and health, antibiotic resistance, environmental science, and others. A panel of experts will review the papers according to the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) review criteria. Abstracts must not have been previously published as a note or full-length article in a journal.
All abstracts will judged on a 100-point scale for scientific rigor, originality, clinical relevance, and contribution to scientific literature. The James A. Cottone Award for Excellence in Investigative Research, which includes a $500 prize, will be awarded to the best overall abstract.
Accepted papers will be presented in poster format at the annual OSAP conference, which will be held June 2-4, 2016, in San Diego. OSAP may also invite some researchers to orally present their findings.
The abstract submissions are due to the OSAP Central Office by 11:59 pm EST on March 18, 2016. For more information, visit the OSAP website.
