Frederick Furry, chief financial officer (CFO) of Biolase, has also been appointed to the role of chief operating officer, effective immediately, the company announced.
Furry, who will continue in his role as CFO, reports directly to the company's CEO Federico Pignatelli.
Furry joined Biolase in November 2010 and is a certified public accountant with more than 18 years of experience working for accounting firms.
