Dental laser firm Biolase is cutting its workforce by about 20% to optimize operations to gain greater efficiencies without impacting revenue.
The layoffs are projected to result in annualized cost savings of about $4 million. Cost-saving moves combined with the completion of its recent equity offering will enable it to achieve its sales and profitability goals, Biolase said.
