Consumer survey shows benefit of Philips Sonicare use

Royal Philips has released the results of a new U.S. survey by Braun Research of more than 1,000 adults. Based on the survey results, "more Philips Sonicare power toothbrush users experience satisfying relationships with friends and family members," according to Philips.

Compared with manual toothbrush users, the survey found that more Philips Sonicare users said they are "very satisfied" with their bonds with friends (86% versus 69%), family members (87% versus 73%), and significant others (71% versus 61%).

Braun Research conducted a nationally representative telephone survey of 1,010 adults age 18 and older during November 6-12, 2014. National margin of error is +3.1 percentage points on the 95% confidence level.

"Philips is committed to delivering innovation to people in a meaningful way," said Boon Lai, vice president and marketing director for Philips Consumer Lifestyle. "The Philips Sonicare power toothbrush portfolio offers best-in-class technology, which gives people even more reasons to smile."
