A University of Toronto (U of T) startup has launched Toothpod, a “smart” dental gum designed to support oral health when brushing is not possible.
The gum contains remineralizing, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory ingredients. It is available in U.S. dental clinics, and DSO Dental Care Alliance plans to offer it across its more than 400 affiliated practices.
