Splintek recently announced that its SleepRight dental guard has received over-the-counter marketing clearance from the U.S. FDA.
The FDA has cleared the dental guard for protection against nighttime teeth grinding called bruxism, said a company press release. It is designed to help reduce damage to the teeth and prevent the noise associated with bruxism.
"Everyday, people are under more stress factors, whether from work, bills, or relationships. Stress can manifest itself in the form of bruxism," said Thomas Brown, CEO of Splintek.
