Dental 3D scanning companies 3Shape and Medit have settled a U.S. patent lawsuit.
In 2022, 3Shape filed a lawsuit against Medit claiming that Medit's intraoral scanner systems infringe on 3Shape patents. Both companies are committed to focusing on their business priorities, 3Shape said in a press release. 3Shape's general counsel, Henriette Stakemann, emphasized the company's commitment to innovation and protecting intellectual property.
