Dental service organization (DSO) Great Expressions Dental Centers has affiliated with Ascent Dental Care, which has four practices in Massachusetts.
Dr. Kevin Coughlin, the founder of Ascent Dental Care, will join Great Expressions' team but will continue leading Ascent. Coughlin will work closely with Dr. Paul Kim, president of Northeast operations, and Burt Rubin, group president, to grow the Massachusetts market.
Great Expressions will continue to expand through affiliations in 2022 and 2023. In May, Great Expressions was ranked the eighth-largest DSO; it operates 349 practices in 10 states.
