High Point University's Workman School of Dental Medicine and Wake Forest University School of Medicine, both in North Carolina, plan to collaborate on dental residency programs.
These programs will offer postdoctoral training in specialties, including general practice, pediatric dentistry, oral medicine, orofacial pain, and dental anesthesiology.
Although discussions are still in the early stages, leaders plan for High Point’s dental school faculty to have appointments at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and train residents at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
