Concorde Career Colleges, the healthcare education division of Universal Technical Institute (UTI), has introduced two dental hygiene associate degree programs at its Miramar, FL, and Portland, OR, campuses.
Concorde's dental hygiene curriculum combines online and on-campus coursework, including lab sessions and clinical practice, enabling students to enter the dental field in 17 months. Under faculty and licensed dentist supervision, students will offer dental health screenings, x-rays, cleanings, bite guards, and sealants.
These clinics provide affordable preventive dental care to the community, including those without insurance. Concorde provides a range of dental programs, from on-campus diploma and associate degree programs to an online bachelor's degree completion program in dental hygiene. Both programs have received initial accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
