The University of the Pacific's Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry celebrated its 125th anniversary on March 5.
The school held an in-person gathering at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, which drew more than 1,000 alumni and guests. The meeting featured several education courses on the theme of "Keys to Clinical Success," the bestowing of the school's medallion of distinction awards, and 16 class reunions.
Of particular note, alumnus Dr. Frank Brucia, who is 104 years old and among the oldest living dentists in the U.S., received the Arthur A. Dugoni Lifetime Achievement Award, according to a statement released by the school.
