Four global dental schools have formed DentAlliance, a partnership focused on dental, oral, and craniofacial research and education.
The alliance consists of dental schools from four countries in different parts of the world:
- University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry in the U.S.
- King's College London Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences in the U.K.
- National University of Singapore Faculty of Dentistry in Singapore
- University of Melbourne Melbourne Dental School in Australia
The goals of DentAlliance include transforming education and curriculum development, pursuing innovative research and discovery initiatives, and enhancing professional practice. The four schools will also collaborate to train future global leaders and practitioners as well as create exchange opportunities for students and employees.
The universities signed an initial five-year agreement to establish the collaboration. They announced their alliance during a virtual launch event on Zoom on October 23.
