The College of Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences will launch VirtualU@WesternU in April.
VirtualU@WesternU will provide online content and academic healthcare education programs with integration support services. The program also includes Web-based continuing education courses for individuals and groups of existing practitioners.
The initial dental courses offered will include medical emergencies for dental personnel, local anesthesia administration, and prosthodontic and implant modules. More content is in development and will be announced at a later date, according to the school.
