Henry Schein names Klis to lead practice solutions

Henry Schein has tapped Steve Klis to lead the company's Global Practice Solutions software business.

Klis was named president of the division, which offers practice management software designed to help practitioners build a better business and deliver quality patient care. The division also offers e-services and patient education options in the dental, animal health, and medical fields.

Klis joins Henry Schein with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare information technology and services. Before joining Henry Schein, he spent the last decade at CareFusion, most recently as general manager of the company's international operations, where he was responsible for leading the commercial organization of Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions. Prior to CareFusion, Klis was a sales executive at Siemens Medical.
