Drinkable Air Technologies has released its current upgraded atmospheric water generator (AWG), the Chameleon 8, for use in the dental industry.
The Chameleon 8 delivers water drawn from water vapor in the air that is then ozonized for sterility. The effect of the ozonized water is antimicrobial in nature and carried down dental water lines in patient delivery systems, according to the company.
Steve Kairis, president and CEO of Drinkable Air, noted in a press release that the company has worked with Union Dental Holdings over the past year developing the applications for the Chameleon 8 for dental procedures. Union Dental Holdings is a distributor for the company as well.
