Birner Dental Management Services saw a year-over-year increase in both revenues and income for the third quarter of 2012 (end-September 30), largely due to patients accepting more expensive treatment plans.
The company reported revenue of $15.7 million for the quarter, an increase of $217,000, or 1.4%, over revenues for the same quarter a year ago. Net income for the quarter increased $9,000, or 2.4%, to $383,000, compared with $374,000 for the third quarter of 2011.
Birner Dental Management Services operates dental practice networks in select markets in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona under the Perfect Teeth brand. The company currently manages 65 dental offices and 116 dentists. Birner also operates one Vantage Dental Implant Center in Denver.
