Carestream Dental has released CS SoftDent v15.0, which features the new Scheduler module.
With the Scheduler, practitioners can add and schedule patients in one step with drag-and-drop functionality, according to the company. In addition, CS SoftDent automatically checks for duplicate entries. And with the AutoScheduler feature, users can input appointment criteria (desired provider, times, and days) to immediately view all available appointments.
The Scheduler's fly-out feature puts critical data, including outstanding treatments and recare needs, at practitioners' fingertips. The software automatically carries over information to other entry points of the patient file, eliminating mistakes. The Scheduler also allows practitioners to access patient contact information and email individuals directly within the software.
Users also have the ability to customize the Scheduler's display according to their own preferences. In addition, CS SoftDent v15.0's new Software Update System gives users the choice to automatically receive the latest software updates to practices' computers, eliminating manual downloading.
