The Board of Directors of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) has named Nadeem Karimbux, DMD, editor of the Journal of Dental Education, effective July 1, 2012.
Dr. Karimbux is an associate professor of oral medicine, infection, and immunity, as well as assistant dean for dental education and advanced graduate program director in periodontology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He has made contributions in research to the specialty of periodontology and problem-based learning in dental education.
A board-certified periodontist, he practices periodontology at the Harvard Dental Center and at Children's Hospital Boston.
