Anthony Iacopino, DMD, PhD, has been confirmed as dean of dentistry at the University of Manitoba for a second term, which will run July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2018.
Dr. Iacopino began his first term on July 1, 2007, following an assignment as associate dean for research and graduate studies and professor of general dental sciences at Marquette University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Iacopino obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and a doctorate in biochemistry/molecular biology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
