Patrick Lloyd, DDS, MS, is leaving his post as dean of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry to take over as dean of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
In addition to his duties as dean, Dr. Lloyd will also become director of dentistry for Ohio State's medical center.
Dr. Lloyd will remain at his current position until August 1. In the meantime, U of M Provost Thomas Sullivan will meet with dentistry faculty, staff, students, and alumni to discuss next steps for nominating candidates for the interim dean position and nominations for dean search committee membership.
