Darby Dental Supply has expanded its product offerings by adding the Zoll AED Plus automated external defibrillator (AED) to its medical equipment selection.
Under a newly signed agreement with Zoll Medical, Darby is now an authorized distributor of the AED Plus. The AED Plus is a portable external defibrillator that guides the user in the practice of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
AED Plus features Real CPR Help, a CPR feedback tool that is able to see what the CPR provider is doing and provide appropriate feedback to help the individual do it properly. Audio and visual prompts help the individual rescue with confidence and clarity unmatched by any other AED, the company said.
The AED Plus comes equipped with a single electrode pad to help eliminate the confusion often caused by most AED systems that commonly utilize two electrode pads, the company noted.
