Horry-Georgetown Technical College in South Carolina is expanding its Speir Healthcare Education Center to include its dental and dental hygiene clinics, according to a news story in the Sun News.
The 24,000-sq-ft addition will have four dedicated dental classrooms and four shared classrooms.
The expanded dental hygiene clinic will be relocated from the Conway campus and will now offer restorative and surgical procedures.
The new clinic, which is primarily intended to serve low-income residents, will be open for restorative and surgical procedures 20 hours a week, the Sun News reported.
