Midmark to showcase furniture updates at Chicago Midwinter

Midmark will introduce two enhancements to its dental furniture product lines at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting this week.

The new Artizan drawer and lift systems integrate unique design elements while improving functionality and efficiency in the operatory, according to the company. While the system still provides a full-extension, soft-close drawer, it also offers a side, height, and tilt feature for flexibility.

The new design is available in standard silk white or an optional stainless steel look. Deep drawer profiles can be fitted with a color-coordinated Boxcap to create a continuous design or with frosted glass. There are two different styles of lift systems: "straight up" or "up and over." Each style can be ordered as manual operation or with a Servo-Drive system.

Midmark will also showcase its new sliding track monitor mount, available for both the Integra dental casework and Artizan dental furniture rear cabinets.

The new sliding track monitor mount was designed to assist the dental clinician in positioning the monitor on a rear cabinet, providing an efficient and ergonomic method of viewing media, such as office schedules, patient charts, and digital x-rays. The ball-bearing track lets the monitor easily traverse from one side of the cabinet to the other and can also wrap around the midsection columns to be viewed from outside the operatory. The mount allows the monitor to be suspended above the countertop, freeing up valuable workspace and room for essential supplies and ancillary devices.

The sliding monitor mount has been designed to accommodate various manufacturers' models, including monitors up to 19 inches and 15 lb.
