Trapezio has launched the Academy of Financial Coordinators, an online certification course for orthodontic financial coordinators.
The new program, authored by Zuelke and Associates, combines Zuelke's methodologies with the online access of Trapezio's Learning Management System (LMS) to give users the ability to immediately implement efficient processes related to risk identification, credit management, accounts receivable control, collections, practice metrics, and more.
The 10-course program details the financial process from start to finish and is suited for experienced and novice financial coordinators, as well as office managers and doctors.
"While not intended to replace the one-on-one, multiday, training offered by in-office consulting, this course has been designed to provide a solid level of basic training for the financial coordinator position in the orthodontic office," said Paul Zuelke, president of Zuelke & Associates, in a press release. "Upon successful completion of this course, the financial coordinator will have the tools to help the practice gain greater case acceptance, to eliminate patient delinquency, and to generate higher productivity and profitability and, most importantly, a greater quality of life within the practice."
The Trapezio LMS structures content as building blocks and also requires an examination at the end of each lesson, the company noted. Successful completion of the course requires a passing average score on all 10 exams. Scoring is securely stored in the system for administrative review and future assessments.
